It does not much matter if it's the same app or a different one. I'd just leave that up to the developers to determine which is more maintainable... I'm looking to purchase a GIT client, so it would be fine to have a separate app. Maybe a purchase options git only, svn only, or a package deal to get both...
The bottom line for me is I've yet to find a GIT client that matches the Cornerstone goodness.. also, I'm getting desperate for a GIT client, since the company I now work for uses it for their standard.. one way or another I'm purchasing an app... I'd like to hear if there is a git client on the roadmap from Zennaware, because I'd wait for it...
